Taylor Darling operates with a spirit of excellence that began long before she stepped into Long Island’s political spotlight. Her early graduation from Uniondale High School at 16 and Spelman College at 19 underscores the opportunities Long Island School Districts can provide when adequately supported and resourced. Taylor’s parents served as examples of strong work values – her father was a proud veteran and her mother was an educator and member of the United Federation of Teachers. As a three-term assemblywoman, Taylor staunchly advocates for quality education, smart economic development, reduced taxes, and improved infrastructures.
